Guide To Happiness: How To Be Yourself and Be Happy Quotes

Be who you are. So many of us now-a-days try to be something we’re not. It causes stress and anxiety that otherwise would not be there. Constantly trying to restrict ourselves to fit in to these stereo-typical types in order to portray a specific image to the masses (this is a lot of work and full-time job.)

Between social media, school, our social circles, are family and whatever else; if we want them to see us as something were not we must constantly keep up this false image like a lie that just keeps growing and becomes harder and harder to manage. It continues to grow and grow until it gets out of hand and finally the truth comes out (the truth always comes out..).  This can make being happy nearly impossible.

So if you try to be something you are not eventually it all adds up, little white-lie after little white-lie until it all comes crumbling down in pieces. That being the case, then I think we can all conclude the best way to be happy and worry-free is to be yourself. Be who you really are. I’m talking, “singing-like-no-ones-listening” and “dancing-like-no-ones-watching."

“To forget oneself is to be happy.” Robert Louis Stevenson
“Men can only be happy when they do not assume that the object of life is happiness.”  George Orwell
“If only we'd stop trying to be happy we'd have a pretty good time.” Edith Wharton

“It's never too late - never too late to start over, never too late to be happy.” Jane Fonda

These references get you to imagine the extent of what I am trying to convey. In those moments, we are completely oblivious to anyone watching, judging, or laughing at us. We express ourselves in a much more unique way when we are under the impression of being alone. This also happens in the changing of the Collective Consciousness and the Vibrations (good vibes) we can send. We are the cause of Global Happiness just as we are the cause for Personal Happiness. The way we view the world and interpret our experiences is an example of our consciousness allowing our ego to misguide us.
Through Self-Discovery and The Awakening of your Consciousness we can therefore begin to Consciously choose not only our thoughts and moods but also control the physical manifestations of this spiritual energy (allowing us to control our aura, conscious thought, and attracting like energy.)

Find out who you are. Do a bunch of different things and decide what you like and dislike. Be completely HONEST because seriously, there's no use lying to yourself. Eventually, lying to yourself or someone else (even though so many of us do it,) always turns out negatively.

In the case of “being yourself,” it is a skill set that is absolutely a necessity. If you ever want to get close to anyone whether it's your family, friends, or you fall in love. No matter what they are going to have to see your true colors and learn whom you really are.
This could be an explanation on why more young people don’t have the desire for marriage or longing for a deep connection, or why most childhood friends don’t last. They Are Still Searching for themselves; it’s impossible to be true to yourself while you are discovering yourself. Luckily, the best time to be true to yourself and trust your intuition while building consciousness to achieve “being true to yourself and being happy” is on “The Path of Self-Discovery and Reflection, they are both required and the same concept of the desire to be true to oneself to achieve happiness will answer both of them (see Life Isn’t So Hard) that’s like killing two birds with one stone in maturity and personal growth.

“Who you are is how you act when no one is looking.”

·   “Trust yourself. Create the kind of self that you will be happy to live with all your life. Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement.”
  Golda Meir

·   “I can see, and that is why I can be happy, in what you call the dark, but which to me is golden. I can see a God-made world, not a manmade world.”

·   “Be happy. It's one way of being wise.”

·   “You will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consists of. You will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life.”

·   “I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.”

·   “Learn to enjoy every minute of your life. Be happy now. Don't wait for something outside of yourself to make you happy in the future. Think how really precious is the time you have to spend, whether it's at work or with your family. Every minute should be enjoyed and savored.”

If you are worried about how a friend or acquaintance will react or feel about you if they found out about a little quirk you have (maybe your a sci-guy) then you may need to reassess that relationship. You may not WANT to be close with those people you consider high and mighty but rude and ignorant. If your friends only like you for someone you are pretending to be then they are not really friends are they? Not true friends at least. Plus you'll attract better friends if you just be yourself, no games, no charades.

·      “To forget oneself is to be happy.” - Robert Louis Stevenson

·      “Men can only be happy when they do not assume that the object of life is happiness." -George Orwell

·      “If only we'd stop trying to be happy we'd have a pretty good time.” -Edith Wharton

·      “It's never too late - never too late to start over, never too late to be happy.”  -Jane Fonda

Always, Remember to Love yourself and embrace who you are.
We are all goofy and a little strange in our own ways, we all believe that there should be a TV show made about us at some point. THAT'S what makes us all individuals, special, different, that's what makes us love to laugh and enjoy life. If you hold back being who you are in fear of others thinking your weird or strange, then the only person you are hurting is yourself.

Not to mention you are taking away that persons chance to meet the real you, the unique one-of-a-kind person that you really are, robbing them of any ability to get close to the real you even if they wanted to.

§      “Now and then it's good to pause in our pursuit of happiness and just be happy.”
§       Guillaume Apollinaire
§      “My creed is that: Happiness is the only good. The place to be happy is here. The time to be happy is now. The way to be happy is to make others so.”
§       Robert Green Ingersoll

Think about your good friends, the ones you cant stop laughing with when your around them, the ones that make you love life and appreciate the little things. Chances are they could probably be considered strange or a little weird in their own right. These nine times out of ten are the people at least when comfortable are truly being themselves. They inspire confidence and instill happiness in everyone they come across. They seem to have a super human power to make others happy and there's no way you could affect others that dramatically and positively. “That Is Wrong! You Have The Same Capability Deep Down Internally. That is why some say,

“Life is a school where we learn to remember what the Soul Already Knows.”

Yes these people are special, but so is everyone in one way or another and we all have the capability and ability to be as happy as we want and radiate happiness and affect others in the same way these extremely passionate and happy close friends have affected us.

They live worries free because they have no charades to maintain. People who love them for who they are no matter what surround them; People gravitate towards them. When you are confident in yourself and not try to be anything else then you will always find happiness, which is what ALL people want. Being true to yourself; fulfilling your wants and needs allows you to radiate positivity and genuine happiness to your close friends, loved-ones, and strangers.

§      “Research has shown that the best way to be happy is to make each day happy.”
§      Deepak Chopra

§      “Happiness is not a brilliant climax to years of grim struggle and anxiety. It is a long succession of little decisions simply to be happy in the moment.”
§      J. Donald Walters

§      “Act happy, feel happy, be happy, without a reason in the world. Then you can love, and do what you will.”
§      Dan Millman

§      “Be happy with what you have and are, be generous with both, and you won't have to hunt for happiness.”
§      William E. Gladstone

I can not tell you how to be yourself or what decisions will be best for you. These are the questions that we must all strive to answer for ourselves through experience and trial & error. As long as you follow and stand by your morals and ethics, always being absolutely true to yourself; you're wants and needs, your need to help others, as well as feed your desire to love and be loved. Never trying to be something you are not, BUT ALWAYS TRYING TO BE THE BEST YOU, YOU CAN BE.  Constantly striving for improvement and growth with a conscious effort to smile and spread joy and positivity to everyone you meet no matter what.
Then eventually you will be that person previously mentioned that you love to be around, not only just to your friends and loved ones but ever random person you come in contact with as well.

I hate to be the bearer of bad newsbut it looks like everything the past few generations have been trying out have made things worse, and just simply aren't working out.

BUT

I love being the bearer of good news, the future is NOT in the hands of the Past Generations anymore.

It's Our Turn Now! Our Generation Has The Opportunity To Make A Real Positive Change.

We are the Good Vibes Generation and are the most consciously aware generation (Consciousness is Expanding Exponentially) in our history.

Through Uniting Together and Embracing The Belief of Good Vibes In, Good Vibes Out. We can Create a Unified Focus of the Collective Consciousness; Thus Creating Not only Change, not just Positive Change, but the Positive Change We Choose.

This could be used as a reference to the popular Alice in Wonderland where Alice famously questions, "What Road Do I Take?
This Could Be Path of Our Theoretical Road. With this Idea (more info in this post on the Nature of Positive Energy.) of Good Vibes and Consciousness to Create a Positive Change of Our Choosing in the World; is where "We Would Be going."
Thinking of it like this creates an end in sight and now we have found the path (or road) in which we must take to get there.
All We Are Left To Do Is Spread The Knowledge And Follow The Path.

The Following is a list of happiness quotes that have helped me tremendously with motivation and inspiration. The influential wisdom of these great individuals provide me with strength and courage to power through moments of depression, loneliness, and anxiety. I hope I have given you at least some sense of confidence in being yourself to achieve happiness in life and if I have not I am 100% confident in the fact that this list of quotes throughout the article will.
Before Embarking on a Self-Discovery or Experimentation of these Ideas;
